Fitting Session Policy:
We ask that the bride bring no more than 4 people with her. No babies or children under the age of 12 are allowed
in the dressing area. Children under the age of 12 will need to remain in the lobby with a member of your party during the bride’s fitting session. Babies and children will not be allowed past the lobby. No food or drinks are allowed in the fitting area. Gentlemen are welcome in all areas of the store except for dressing rooms or dressing room areas. This is to protect our ladies and gentlemen from being embarrassed, due to the fact some dresses do not fit and/or some customers are shy.
Bridal Dress Payment Policy:
When you order your bridal gown we require a 50% deposit, payable with cash, check,( no out of state checks ) credit card, or debit card. Payments can be made on remaining balance once dress is ordered, keep in mind we do NOT do alterations until dress is paid in full. Special ordering your gown with changes may take a little longer, and payment in full is required for SPECIAL HEMS and CUSTOM CHANGES. Rush shipping is available from most designers, but must be requested when order is placed.
Bridal Dress Ordering Policy:
Keep in mind that it can take 4-6 months to receive a special order bridal gown. If you need alterations, total time to delivery can be up to 8 months. Please ORDER EARLY to allow adequate time for special orders and alterations.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS, NO CANCELLATIONS, EXCHANGES, NO TRANSFER OF MONEY FROM ONE ITEM TO ANOTHER, OR RETURNS. NO EXCEPTIONS!! This applies to merchandise that has been ordered, marked down, placed in lay-a-way, has been altered or taken out of the store. In case of a cancelled wedding money paid cannot be refunded or transferred to other merchandise and all balances must be paid. Once purchased and merchandise is taken out of the store, J Marie’s is not held responsible for any situations that occur. This includes broken zippers. Merchandise may be kept by J Marie’s for 6 months maximum. This includes lay-a-way and/or special orders. Payments must be made each month on lay-a-way per agreement between customer and J Marie’s. After 6 months a storage fee of $50.00 per month will be added to the balance. NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS. No alterations are included except specified changes as noted on the sales agreement. Wedding gowns take an average of 3 1/2 to 4 months to arrive after ordering unless otherwise specified or a rush fee is paid. The customer realizes they are responsible for all balances. All balances due 30 days after notification of arrival of special ordered merchandise or 6 months from the date of purchase.
